Hardware Design Authority Contract | £50-£60 per Hour | Outside IR35 | Cambridge
Are you enthusiastic about driving product development and electronics engineering? We're seeking a talented individual to lead a team in creating cutting-edge digital products and accessories. As a Hardware Design Authority, you'll be responsible for guiding the technical aspects of the projects, ensuring top-notch designs that align with the production objectives.
Rate and benefits:
£50 - £60 per hour outside IR35
3 month contract with potential to be extended by another 3 months
On site in Cambridge
What we're seeking:
A minimum of 5 years of industry experience in a similar capacity
A proactive individual with strong leadership skills in a diverse work environment
In-depth knowledge of product development lifecycle principles
Extensive experience in electronics engineering for large-scale production
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders to meet requirements
Proficiency in defining technical requirements and overseeing their implementation
Capacity to harmonize product development with organizational strategies
Extra points for:
Background in RF communications system development, audio equipment, or charging devices.
Familiarity with advanced communication technologies (e.g., LTE, Bluetooth, WiFi)
Experience integrating electronics into challenging mechanical setups
Ability to coordinate with software development teams seamlessly
