Health and Safety Coordinator

Principal People are excited to be recruiting for a Health and Safety Coordinator to work for a large multi-national Logistics company. The role will be based at their site in Leicester and will offer you a great professional development opportunity.

You will be reporting directly into the Head of Health and Safety as well as having interaction with the wider HSE team around the UK.

The appointed Health and Safety Coordinator will be responsible for:
Collaborate with the HSE Manager to ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation.
Participate in annual HSE/accreditation audits and assist in closing out actions.
Provide pre-audit support to sites, ensuring all necessary documents are up-to-date.
Conduct accident, incident, and near-miss investigations, as well as Incident Reviews when directed.
Ensure legal compliance with Health and Safety regulations through monthly inspections and checks. The successful candidate will possess:
IOSH or NEBOSH Qualification (desirable)
A desire and hunger to progress in Health and Safety In return the salary is paying up to £30,000 and the opportunity to undertake a NEBOSH qualification and an excellent opportunity to join an established and reputable organisation.
