Senior Design Engineer | £35k-£45k DOE | Chelmsford | Permanent

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Design Engineer to work on production equipment used for the manufacture of RF products, from standard to bespoke solutions.

Our client is known for being at the forefront of technology and they're a top player in creating cutting-edge products for space/satellite industries and healthcare.

This role requires someone to be experienced with electrical / electronic design and PLC programming.

Role/Responsibilities:

Producing technical electrical & mechatronic drawings for new & legacy equipment
Programming of PLCs, HMIs, controllers and LabVIEW software
Working with a high attention to detail and accuracy
Organisation and prioritisation of own workload
Providing progress updates
Working methodically and producing work of a high quality
Experience/Skills:

Engineering qualifications such as HNC, Degree or similar
Electrical / electronic design experience
Ability to work from detailed technical drawings and manuals
Experience of PLC programming and other controllers
Knowledge of general engineering best practices 
Desirable:

Knowledge of other engineering areas: mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics, etc.
Use of Autodesk PDMC; AutoCAD Electrical, Inventor 3D and others
Experience of Mitsubishi PLCs and software: GX Works, Developer
Package:

Salary: Up to £45k DOE
