We are now recruiting for a Management Accountant at our Head Officed based in Ipswich. This role will be working Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5pm with the option of hybrid working.
The main purpose of this role is to maintain up to date records of the financial position of the company.
Main duties include:
* Manage complex queries and issues within own area of work ensuring a suitable response where required.
* Understand company procedures and roles and provide cover and support for sub-contract and contract sales.
* Collect and present data using most effective methods for management use, including month end reporting.
* Provision of non-contract sales ledger invoicing.
* Continually review own area of work and identify improvements to processes and procedures.
* Undertake clerical, administrative and financial roles within area of work.
Are you the person we are looking for?
We are seeking an individual who is highly numeric, with a methodical and organised approach to work. The ideal candidate will also be confident with good communication skills who can work independently as well as in a team.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role or be able to demonstrate sound working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and have GCSE’s in Maths and English at Grades A-C or equivalent.
The successful candidate must be AAT qualified.
