Shift Pattern: Days 08:00 – 16:30 Monday to Friday
We’re supporting our client, a leading Injection moulding manufacturer based in Ipswich, who are looking for a Toolmaker to join their growing team. The successful Toolmaker will have experience of Injection Moulding maintenance and repairs, Manual Machining and Hot runner systems experience.
Responsibilities for Toolmaker:
* Undertake the repair & modification of injection mould tools to a high level of workmanship.
* Read and understand technical drawings.
* Use manual milling machines, lathes, surface, and cylindrical grinders.
* Use manual spark eroders.
* Undertake the wiring of hot runner systems.
* Undertake tool fault finding.
* Ensure correct marking/labelling of tools.
* Suggest possible improvements to tooling or processes.
* Log completed tool maintenance and repair work.
About You:
* 1 year injection mould toolmaking experience
* Completed a Toolmaking apprenticeship/toolmaking qualifications
* Hot runner systems experience
* Manual machining experience
