An excellent opportunity has arisen with our marine-industry based client for an experienced Business Development Manager to take the lead and grow their parts and e-commerce department in Ipswich.
Providing an outstanding level of service to yacht owners and dealerships around the world, the successful candidate will deliver increased e-commerce revenue by developing online sales platforms, attracting new e-commerce customers and managing existing e-commerce clientele.
Overseeing a small team of sales and support staff, they will also have control over stock, shipping and storage.
Duties will include:
* New Business Development - actively seeking out new opportunities to develop eCommerce sales growth, looking to find and onboard new eCommerce customers.
* Maximizing of eBay selling opportunities and maintaining satisfaction score.
* Providing excellent customer service to enhance customer experience.
* Managing the day-to-day running of the Parts Sales team, including workload and people management.
* Managing all parts orders for dealer support, part sales, warranty & postproduction.
* Developing professional and productive relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers.
Applicants must have:
* A minimum of five years Business development experience, specifically working on online marketplaces, social media etc
* Entrepreneurial flair to identify new business opportunities
* A positive attitude with excellent communication and customer service skills
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team,
* Excellent attention to detail and be highly organised
* Strong IT skills
In return, the successful candidate will receive a competitive salary with uncapped commission and a good benefits package. Hours of work 8.00am – 4.30pm, Monday to Friday. 24 days holiday plus BH.
