Location: Hastings
Are you a master of sparks, wielding your welding torch with precision and finesse? Look no further! Our client is in need of a skilled and experienced Welder/Fitter to join their dynamic team. They are specialists in Ultra High Vacuum chambers and equipment, and their objective is to provide clients with the highest quality in engineering and fabrication of high vacuum and ultra-high vacuum chambers and equipment. So as their workload surges like molten metal, they are seeking a dedicated individual who can fuse their expertise with theirs, specializing in the art of TIG welding, only with stainless steel and aluminium.
Work Hours: - 40 hours per week - Monday - Thursday between 8am - 5pm; Friday between 8am - 2pm
Benefits - Company Pension; 22 Days Holiday Plus 1 Day Per year (max 25 Days plus Bank holidays).
Salary - £19.00 Per Hour; £39,520.00 Basic Plus Time and a Half on Overtime.
The Candidate:
In this Welder/Fitter role you will be working on one off/small batch projects and you will have relevant skills and experience in:
Possession of the golden touch in TIG welding, only in stainless steel, backed by a proven track record of mastery and ability to weld aluminium 6000 & 5000 Series.
Used to working to BS EN ISO – 15614 standards.
Able To Produce WPS Tests with Zurich Inspection.
Ability to decipher the intricate of technical drawings, welding symbols, and project specifications with the keen eye of an alchemist.
Conquered on-site weld tests, proving your mettle in the realm of welding.
A sworn oath to workplace safety, guarding their realm with unwavering dedication and adherence to established protocols.
Proficient in the operation of welding equipment and tools, wielding each with the finesse of a seasoned warrior.
An obsession with detail, ensuring each fit-up and assembly is as precise as a well-crafted masterpiece.
A maestro of teamwork and communication, orchestrating symphonies of collaboration with your fellow artisans.
This position is suitable for a Coded/Certified Welder.
