Under leadership of the new Finance Director, who has a wealth of experience in FMCG turnaround situations, the finance team has a clear remit to drive change. As a team, they aim to simplify processes and systems, removing and renewing legacy items and drive the business forward to seek new opportunities.

The finance function is actively engaged with the control, planning, and deployment of financial resources, ensuring that resources acquired are put to efficient operational and strategic use, challenging performance, together with ensuring that risks are identified, minimised and liabilities controlled.

Job Purpose
• To maintain and improve comprehensive site financial controls.
• Provide business partner support to the Site Director, to drive and improve financial performance.
• To manage and develop the site financial team.
• To seek continual improvement in the process and systems relevant to the needs of the site.

The ideal candidate will have a track record of leading and developing a team of finance professionals within a dynamic and commercial environment. Experience of ERP and BI solutions is essential.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the confidence to express opinions clearly and the and ability to translate financial matters and communicate to non-financial management is essential.
