Overview:
Clearfield Recruitment, on behalf of our client, is seeking a skilled Bricklayer to join a dynamic team in Peterborough. The selected candidate will be responsible for executing bricklaying tasks, with a focus on cutting out windows and installing lintels. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to exciting projects and showcase their expertise in bricklaying.

Key Responsibilities:

Bricklaying: Execute bricklaying tasks according to project requirements, ensuring precision and adherence to safety standards.
Window Cutting: Proficiently cut out window openings in brick walls, maintaining accuracy and structural integrity.
Lintel Installation: Install lintels securely to support newly created window openings, following industry best practices.
Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections of completed work to ensure quality craftsmanship and compliance with specifications.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members, including contractors and supervisors, to achieve project goals efficiently.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations on the construction site to mitigate risks and maintain a safe working environment.
Material Management: Efficiently manage bricklaying materials and tools, ensuring availability and proper storage.
Requirements:

Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience as a Bricklayer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects showcasing proficiency in window cutting and lintel installation.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in bricklaying techniques, including precision cutting and mortar application, with the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Safety Consciousness: Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and a proactive approach to mitigating risks on-site.
Team Player: Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work comfortably in various weather conditions.
Reliability: Dependable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to meeting project deadlines.
Additional Information:

Location: The construction site is based in Peterborough
Duration: This is a temporary position for an initial period of 2 weeks, with the possibility of extension based on project needs and performance.
Schedule: Full-time hours, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work as needed to meet project deadlines.
Remuneration: Competitive DAY rate, commensurate with experience and skills.
