A fantastic school in Peterborough are now looking for an experienced and confident Primary Teacher to take on an exciting role for September. The position is full time, teaching a mixed year 3 and 4 class and is set to run until the end of the academic year with the opportunity of being extended further.

The school are also welcoming NQT’s as well as overseas trained equivalent teachers to apply – provided that your knowledge of the UK national curriculum is substantial enough to plan and teach a full capacity class on a full time basis.

Requirements of the role are to:

Plan and teach KS2 classes
Support children with challenging behaviour
Have their own transport
Possess Extensive knowledge of the curriculum
Be able to motivate and encourage primary school children to learn
Engage and motivate pupils by making classes interactive and stimulating
Some pupils in the class will be working on a 1:1 basis and within small groups with support from a qualified TA. The class itself is at full capacity and as a result of this; all applicants will need to have a high level of classroom management skills in order to ensure all pupils remain on task.

Successful applicants will be expected to interview and potentially teach a 30-45 minute class at the earliest opportunity; therefore we need someone who is committed to making a difference and is eager to get ‘stuck in’.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
