CBW Staffing Solutions are seeking a skilled Installation Electrician to join our building services client’s team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical installations across commercial and industrial settings. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and upgrading electrical systems to meet project specifications and client requirements.
Package:
Competitive salary between £38,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Van & fuel card supplied
Core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Responsibilities:
Conduct installations of electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, power distribution, and control systems, according to project plans and blueprints
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of installations within budget and quality standards
Perform electrical testing and commissioning to verify the functionality and safety of installed systems
Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions to ensure optimal performance
Adhere to electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the installation process
Maintain accurate records of installations, including materials used, labour hours, and project documentation
Provide technical guidance and support to junior electricians and apprentices as needed
Qualifications:
The successful candidate must hold a City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
Qualified to the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, Electrical Inspection & Testing 2391 and AM2 or equivalent
Proven experience as an Installation Electrician or similar role within the building services industry
Full UK driving licence
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuitry
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical faults
Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations
Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
