Production Operative

Adecco Northumberland are looking to recruit a production operative for our client based in Hexham. This will be working day shift Monday - Friday.

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Production Operative to join our packaging team. As a Production Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of our packaging processes. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor packaging machinery to ensure efficient production
Perform quality checks on packaged products to maintain high standards
Assemble packaging materials and prepare them for production
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment
Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the supervisor
Maintain a clean and organised work spaceRequirements:

Previous experience as a production operative, preferably in packaging
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor issues
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to work in different shifts if required
