Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Salary £27-£30k + car allowance + bonus + package

Inside Construction have been appointed to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for a growing, dynamic contractor who specialise in refurbishment and regeneration solutions. The role
The main purpose of the role is to assistant in the financial delivery of the project. It is the Quantity Surveyors responsibly to ensure projects are procured and delivered within budget – seeking to minimise costs and ensure legal regulations are adhered to.
You will be assisting with the following key responsibilities.
* Multiple project cost control and reporting
* Managing payments
* Valuations and final accounting
* Measure progress and variations
* Issuing notices of the contract
* Liaising with operations site team and other stakeholders within the business – building strong relationships
* Subcontractor and material procurement
The person
This opportunity would suit an ambitious person who wants to be part of our client’s journey. It’s essential you have or are studying towards a degree in quantity surveying and have some industry experience – refurbishment is preferred.
The role will be site based so full UK driving license is essential.
