Press Brake Setter Operator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Setter to join our Customers team. As a Press Brake Setter, you will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, form, and shape sheet metal according to specifications for bespoke components. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to read blueprints.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape sheet metal for bespoke components
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job orders
- Select appropriate tooling and adjust machine settings for each job
- Position and secure workpieces on the machine bed using clamps or other holding devices
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and accuracy of bends
- Inspect finished products for defects and perform quality checks
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Press Brake Setter or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of press brake operations
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and job orders
- Familiarity with different types of tooling used in press brake operations
- Ability to fabricate sheet metal components based on specifications
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
