About the Role

Due to company growth we are looking to welcome a Quality Officer to be based in Middlesbrough. Workdry Ltd have a range of benefits plus a rewarding salary to offer you in return for your excellent eye for detail in ensuring we have a compliant and safe workplace environment.

This role will be focussing on the Quality aspects and objectives of the businesses Quality Management System. Ensuring the organisation has the relevant systems, to enable it to comply with the regulatory standards.

A background in construction would be advantageous however we are happy to welcome applicants from all types of industries to join our team.

It is essential that you have knowledge and experience using ISO9001 to be considered for this position.

Main Responsibilities:

* Creating reviewing and amending internal processes as appropriate to maintain compliance with standards and best practice, continually driving improvement throughout.

* Analyse data and produce reports showing areas requiring improvement.

* Developing and presenting training programs for staff in the Quality Systems to ensure their knowledge and understanding of the requirements and processes and the impact of breaching the standards.

* Liaising with local Manager’s regarding Customer feedback, and any supplier problems are managed in accordance with procedures and standards.

* Reviewing the Quality related Operating Systems and Procedures and ensure that changes are initiated and approved in accordance with the document control system.

* Investigating any incident as required to enable the business to provide the necessary information to the relevant authorities and external bodies as required.

Qualifications & Experience

* Detailed knowledge and experience with ISO9001

* Compliant accurate record keeping.

* Ability to act proactively whilst maintaining a methodical, attention to detail approach.

* Excellent communication skills

* Auditing skills and experience.

* Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and good practice

* A full UK driving licence is required as well as willingness to travel throughout the UK.
