I am delighted to be partnering with a leading firm of Chartered Accountant who are looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join their team in Middlesbrough.
Reporting the Assistant Management you will be involved in the delivery, analysis and interpretation of management accounts for a portfolio of clients across the region.
Your main duties:
* Preparation of management accounts from a wide range of clients Sage, Xero and Quickbooks Online
* Attending clients premises across the North East and Yorkshire
* Undertake common management accounts task and techniques including cash flow forecasting and break even analysis
* Analyse, interpret and appropriate commentary on management accounts
* Preparation of Excel working papers
* Undertaking bookkeeping tasks
* Prepare and review VAT returns
* Reviewing payroll journals
* Actioning client queries
* Attending internal meetings
Person Specification:
* ACA/ACCA qualified or AAT level 4 with relevant experience
* Management accounts experience
* Strong IT skills including Xero, Quickbooks, Sage
* Strong Excel skills
* Knowledge of different VAT schemes
* Understanding of CIS
