Pay:

The role is for a sonographer in a brand new clinic. This means that the role is going from temporary to permanent depending on the fit of you and the employer in the clinic setting. So there would be a probation period where you would be working approximately 20-30 hours per week, and then moving to a full time role.

The pay is £40-£50 per hour, starting at 20-30 hours, and the hours should increase once the probationary period is passed to a full time role.

The clinic is looking for an experienced and empathetic sonographer, who can be there for their patients during difficult and celebratory times.

The sonographer should promote a patient focused approach to care; ensuring all client areas are safe and fit for purpose. You will be required to undertake a range of duties using complex or sensitive information and will act as the patient's advocate, maintaining their dignity at all time.

Responsibilities:

Prenatal scans from early pregnancy and dating scans to late pregnancy 4D scans

Producing high quality ultrasound images and videos

Accuracte record keeping and referrals where necessary

Carrying out phlebotomy services where needed for NIPT and "SneakPeek" blood tests. Training is offered for phlebotomy if needed.

Working with the management team to ensure a premium client experience

Ensuring a high standard of patient care is maintained at all times

Maintaining high standards of clenliness and hygeiene

Qualifications:

- Degree in Sonography

- At least 2 years experience with preferrably private practices

Registered with any of the following:

- HCPC (Health and Care Professionals Council)

- NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council)

- GMC (General Medical Council)

- SoR (Society of Radiographers)

- BMUS (British Medical Ultrasound Society)

Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong patient centred approach

Open to calls and emails evenings and weekends
