Our client is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer with HV experience up to 132kv for a 6 month contract to work on an gas site in Northwich.
Work 40 hours over 10 days or 9 day fortnight available (Apply online only) Monday-Friday but off every other Friday)
Ideally you will have experience as an Authorising Engineer with good DSEAR and ATEX experience.
Ideally you will have experience supporting with HSE Interventions and will be degree qualified.
There will be various duties:
Act as the single point of contact for the GE Contract for the Compressors, Motors, Variable Speed Drive and Magnetic Bearings.
Responsible for Cathodic protection - Follow maintenance / monitoring plan, liaise with contractors (expertise and maintenance). Manage any remedial work.
Responsible for ATEX - Manage all ATEX inspection activities, ATEX compliance and ATEX equipment register. Manage any remedial work.
Responsible for the site UPS Systems - Manage the maintenance & testing of site UPS systems.
Responsible for site Earthing and Lightning Protection Systems - Manage the maintenance and system testing.
Inside IR35 position paying £80ph PAYE / Umbrella
Hybrid working available working 1-2 days from home if desired
