Connect Appointments have an exciting opportunity for a Chef in Northumberland, on a temporary ongoing basis covering long-term sickness and holidays.

What's on offer?

Monday to Friday, 9am until 2pm
£12.50 to £15.00 per hour - depending on experience
Weekly pay, directly into your bank accountWorking as a Chef, your duties and responsibilities

Create menus, prepare and cook food - noting any special dietary needs
Source, place and manage orders for necessary food ingredients and kitchen cleaning consumables
Check and record all food and kitchen consumables deliveries, quantities of ingredients used and the number of meals produced and served
Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen, its equipment and surrounding areas
Ensure the Food Hygiene and Health and Safety Regulations are adhered to at all times
Report faults in equipment and request necessary day to day maintenance of premises
Carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function of the jobTo be successful within this role you will have a Level 2 Food Safety Certificate, and a Food allergens certificate. Combined with the following traits:
