Our client is a successful and established, highly successful and expanding hospitality group, based in Newcastle upon Tyne. They are currently looking for an experienced Hotel Manager to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. The job you will be doing;
* Providing the highest quality of service to guests
* Be instrumental to achieving hotel and business objectives are accomplished
* Manage the day to day operations of the hotel and oversee all departments
* Support operations management by advising on policy and procedures
* Ensuring all urgent matters and addressed correctly and in accordance with company policy
* Make sure all health and safety compliance is met throughout the hotel
* Follow all recruitment procedures and ensure these are followed by all
* Create rotas for the needs of the business, and review all holiday requests to maintain cover
* Make sure all training is up to date and takes place
* Maintain cleanliness and maintenance issues by using a daily compliance diary
* Ensure the site is adhering to Health and Safety, Food Safety and Licensing
* Conduct regular site inspections to make sure all standards are being met
* Ensure the site achieves 5 star EHO rating
* Communicate effectively with the Area General Manager and the team
About You
* Previous Hotel Management experience is essential.
* Have a passion for excellent service and enjoy working in professional surroundings
* Demonstrate a hands-on approach and an outstanding personality
* Be confident and self-motivated, displaying a passionate commitment to the business
* Have a positive attitude and welcome and embrace change
* Maintain excellent timekeeping, attendance and a professional attitude
* Work together with the team to ensure the business is the best it can be, and look for opportunities and improvement
* Communicate clearly to colleagues and customers, and remain calm patient and polite if receiving customer feedback
