Position – CNC Machinist (Turner)
Location – Houghton-Le-Spring
Annual Salary – Up to £16 per hour
Shifts – Day shift – 4-day working week

Main Duties:
* Set up and operate CNC turning machines to produce precision components.
* Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine machining operations.
* Program CNC turning machines using CAM software or manual programming techniques.
* Monitor machine operations and adjust settings to ensure quality and efficiency.
* Conduct in-process inspections and measurements to verify part dimensions.
* Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a CNC Turner or similar role.
* Proficiency in CNC programming and operation.
* Strong understanding of machining principles and tooling selection.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
* Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
