Position - Transport Co-ordinator (Nights)
Based - Wigan
Salary Band - 28K per annum
Hours - Nights, four on four off
Role Summary
Due to business growth, we are currently looking to recruit an experienced Transport Co-ordinator to join our team in a position offering career stability and excellent developmental opportunities in a great working environment.
The successful candidate will assist the Transport Team in delivering a successful operation with exceptional standards on behalf a major client and brand name.
Duties & Responsibilities
Successfully despatching drivers based on load and drivers' hours availability
Thorough Driver Brief and Debriefing
Continually monitoring of all on site haulier activity to ensure site KPI's are met update relevant systems
Conducting and reporting of periodic trailer checks
Liaison between Warehouse and end client
Deal with defects, vor's, required call outs etc.
Ensuring all compliance requirements are recognised and achieved

Experience
Previous transport experience required
Proficient IT skills
