Training 2000 is at the heart of the Lancashire economy, developing talent and training the next generation. We are growing and an exciting opportunity has arisen for the post of Scaffolding / CISRS Instructor
A rare opportunity has arisen in our Scaffolding team for an instructor to join our committed team of scaffolders who train on both commercial courses and apprenticeship programmes. As a Scaffolding Instructor you will be required to train Scaffolders who either require reaccreditation or apprentices who are aspiring to be fully qualified in your trade.
The sessions you will deliver will be practical based however there will be a requirement for customer support activities which include scaffolding inspection and advising on safety matters.
We’re looking for a qualified advanced scaffolder who has held their CISRS qualification and advanced card for five years or more. Our ideal candidate will have experience of supervisory experience although this is not essential. Teaching experience is desirable although full training can be provided for the right candidate.

Terms and Conditions:
For this role, you will receive a salary of £36,000 - £39,000 dependent upon experience and a competitive benefits package. In addition, we believe in providing more than just salary and benefits and we’ll give you time and support to develop your career. Our Scaffolding Instructors continually develop themselves through their connections with industry and through our dedicated CPD days across the year.
bTo give you an idea of our benefits, we firmly believe in having a good work life balance and therefore, they include 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays. This entitlement will increase with over time to 32 days and you are also able to purchase up to 5 days extra per year. In addition to this, from the day you join, you will receive life assurance whilst employed at 4 x your annual salary. Finally, with pensions being an important part of peoples career, following 6 months service you will be entitled to enrol into our Group Private Pension scheme where we will match contributions up to 5%.
