My client are a family owned, specialist civil engineering contractor delivering projects across the UK. They deliver a wide range of projects across sectors including highways, groundworks, infrastructure works, and utilities, with projects valued at up to £7.5m.
They have an opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team and work on a range of newly secured civil engineering projects across the North West.
The role:
You'll be working on a range of interesting projects, helping to ensure they are delivered on time and to budget.Your duties will include:
Reviewing project costs for accuracy and addressing any discrepancies.
Evaluating, pricing, negotiating, and finalising budgets and costs for project scope changes
Developing and maintaining procurement schedules.
Preparing bills of quantities and schedules of works to facilitate accurate project pricing.
CVR reporting.
Controlling financial aspects of projects.Requirements:
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the civil engineering industry.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Benefits:
