My client is a reputable civils contractor who are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
Please note this is a regional role - we are looking for someone to look after the North West Region
Duties:
We are currently recruiting a Site Manager to join the company and manage a civils scheme based in Northumberland.
Site Manager Responsibilities:
* Reporting and working alongside the Project Manager and Contracts manager.
* Site Supervision and compliance with health and safety
* Keeping site diaries
* RAMS
* Quality Assurance.
* Managing the labour and putting men to work.
* Ensuring all paperwork is filed and organised.
* Liasing with the client, providing weekly/monthly progress reports.
* Pushing and following programme.
* Reading and understanding drainage drawings.
* Ordering materials.
Site Manager Requirements:
* CSCS black card or gold card
* First Aid
* SMSTS
* Demonstrated experience on civil engineering projects (highways, water, RC structures, environmental etc)
