Senior Structural Engineer

£45,000 - £55,000
An independent multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy based in Bolton town centre currently have a vacancy for a Senior Structural Engineer with at least 6+ years' industry experience to join their Civil & Structural department to work on a truly diverse range of projects across several wide-ranging sectors.
The company have recently won an influx of both new-build and refurbishment design projects that are a quite niche (including several fire-stations and sports centres across the UK) to run alongside their usual work with the NHS among other clients.
You will be joining a well-established company with decades of experience in a company of just under 20 full-time staff who also have a sizeable Architectural department to work hand-in-hand with.
Ideally, they're looking for:
A Senior Structural Engineer
At least 6+ years' experience in a similar role
A degree in Engineering or an Engineering-related field
Experience using AutoCAD
Experience working in a consultancy environment
Someone who can work autonomously without supervision for the most part
Someone in commutable distance to Bolton town centre
Good engineering knowledge and understanding of key structural engineering principals.This position will be paying £45,000 - £55,000 as a basic salary and will most likely be dependent on your specific relatable experience and skillset.
