The School and Role

This large, welcoming secondary school based in Everton, Liverpool is looking to appoint a strong Science Teacher to teach KS3 - KS4 levels and work as part of an established team.  This is a full-time role, starting immediately and will be ongoing until at least July 2024.  The successful candidate must have experience of teaching Chemistry, Biology and Physics up to KS4. This Catholic College and Sixth Form, established in 1869, offers a comprehensive and enlightening education to students aged 11 to 18. Relocating to a new site in 2013, the school received a 'Good' rating in its latest Ofsted report in 2022. It provides a variety of after-school activities and opportunities for both students and staff to engage in community and charity work.

Requirements

The desired Teacher will have;

-          Hold QTS in the UK

-          Experience of working with KS3 and KS4 levels

-          Confidence in teaching the current curriculum

-          Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
