Electrical Maintenance Technician - Temporary
Shotton
40 hrs per week Monday to Friday
Overtime available
We require an electrical Maintenance Technician to work for one of our clients based in Shotton . As the Technician you would be working on PPM schedules and ad hoc breakdowns.
You will be maintaining chemical manufacturing equipment such as ...
* Experience with Allen Bradley Control/Compact Logix OR Siemens S7 PLC’s is essential.
* AC or DC Invertor drives, fault finding, commissioning, and programming.
* Thorough understanding of relay logic and the ability to fault find from Engineering drawings - P&ID’S, Electrical Schematics, and control loop diagrams.
* Instrumentation knowledge, maintaining and fault finding control loops.
* Some knowledge of industrial communication protocols I.e. DeviceNet / Profibus / Profinet / TCP/IP.
* Some SCADA and HMI development experience.
* Methodical fault finding skills are essential.
* Good knowledge of health and safety.
You would be expected to supply your own general tool kit.
This would suit someone with a limited company although help in setting up a limited company can be provided
You will be working on a temporary basis as a sub contractor through out Client Mechspan Engineering
