Job Title: Adoption Social Worker
Location: Liverpool City Council Edge Hill, Hybrid Working
Duration: Minimum 3-Month Placement
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £35 Per Hour (ltd status)
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Adoption Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work, particularly within the field of Adoption. They should possess a comprehensive understanding of all adoption regulations, legislation, statutory guidance, and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a diverse caseload with adoption as the planned outcome, ensuring adherence to policy and procedure with a child-centered approach.
* Effectively and safely analyse risks to make informed decisions.
* Maintain quality standards and champion good practice to minimize risks.
* Engage in purposeful and effective partnership working to undertake family finding activities.
* Demonstrate excellent assessment, report preparation, and planning skills, completing tasks efficiently within statutory timescales.
* Conduct direct work and prepare Life story books for children/young people.
Requirements:
* Adoption experience
* 2 years post qualifying
