Are you an Electrically biased Engineer? Do you have experience managing CAPEX? Do you have experience working with Automated Machinery? If so I am interested in speaking with you as SRG are recruiting on behalf of a Chemical Manufacturing client based in Liverpool. Permanent position working Mon-Fri.
About the role
The role is required to take ownership of the Electrical, Control/Automation and Instrumentation systems on site, providing technical support to the technicians, driving exceptional performance through line improvements and moving the business forward through CAPEX projects.
It will provide project planning, management and support for projects including new equipment specification / design and installation up to major Factory developments including civil, Engineering and Software Systems/Process control and SCADA.
About you
A minimum HNC in electrical/electronic engineering
Experience of process control and automation (PLC's, VSD, SCADA, Instrumentation & calibration, MCC's)
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a chemical manufacturing environment
Supervision of Projects including people and budgetary management
Excellent IT skills
Great communication skills, with the ability to understand and solve problems, liaising with all levels of employees in the business
Confident to work independently and proactively in identifying issues and creating solutions
Experience of working in a fast-paced production environment
Able to work on own and as part of a team
Able to lead investigations and identify root causes
