Test Manager with previous experience in the financial service / fintech sector is required by Logic Engagements to work for our client a well established and growing organisation based near Reading (hybrid working – 3 days a week in the office)

The scope of the role will be to:

* Implement and manage the testing governance framework and approach across Programmes.

* Develop a comprehensive test strategy for the Programme that aligns with the overall objectives and goals.

* Plan the test activities for the entire programme, including defining test objectives, scope, schedule, resources and risks.

* Oversee the design and execution of test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of the systems.

* Identify opportunities for test automation and work with automation engineers to improve efficiency and coverage.

* Manage the test team engagement and ensure a comprehensive test coverage and execution to delivery quality in systems.

* Coordinate with stakeholders, including project managers, development teams, business analysts, and end-users, to communicate testing progress, issues and results effectively.

* Be responsible for the defect management process across Programmes.

* Monitor and analyse testing metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of testing efforts and identify areas for improvement.

* Provide guidance, training and mentoring to test team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.

* Ensure that testing activities adhere to relevant legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements.

In order to be successful for this role you will need to be able to demonstrate the following experience:

* Previous experience working as a Test Manager

* Strong ability to lead, motivate testing Teams

* A deep understanding of testing methodologies, such as unit testing, integration testing, system testing, regression testing, and acceptance testing.

* Good knowledge of automation test tools and frameworks

* Ability to create comprehensive test strategies and test plans tailored to the specific needs of the Programme.

* Strong project management skills to coordinate testing activities within a Programme. This includes resource allocation, scheduling, risk management and issue tracking.

* Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with client stakeholders

* Happy to work a hybrid model and able to be in the office three days per week
