TeacherActive are seeking Early Career Teachers to start working this September in a range of roles in Secondary schools across Greater Manchester. We offer day to day, short term, fixed term and long term roles and are looking to fill vacancies immediately.

Are you keen to land your first long term teaching role this September? Or perhaps you would love to start working in a few different schools to explore your options?
TeacherActive are on the lookout for enthusiastic, organised and dedicated Early Career Teachers to work in a wide range of schools across Greater Manchester.
You might think that agency work is only day to day and temporary, but in fact, we offer a huge amount of permanent long term roles too, many of which are salaried, or start on a day rate but lead very quickly to salaried work.
We are currently working on filling long term roles in numerous Secondary schools across Manchester, in different specialisms. We are also always keen to meet with passionate Teachers who would love to work day to day casually whilst they figure out their next moves.
We offer a warm and friendly service lead by individuals who have worked in Education themselves, and you will be supported at every stage of the process to make the transition from student to professional teacher absolutely seamless. We can't wait to meet you!
Application Procedures
Our application process is straightforward and will be entirely handled by myself, Megan Sinclair. I am an ex-teacher myself so I can answer all of your questions confidently and take care to ensure that you find your dream roles. We have a simple three step process to get you registered:
1. You will receive an initial screening call where we will discuss your CV.
2. You will complete a simple online registration form with my support.
3. I will meet you in our office for an informal interview.
After registering, it will take two weeks for us to conduct police checks and retrieve your references, and then you will be cleared for work. We will then start sending you out for trial shifts and interviews at your dream schools!

Registration involves an enhanced DBS check, ID checks and will require you to supply good professional references. We pride ourselves on excellent service. We can provide a wide range of opportunities in schools and other educational institutions, with good rates of pay, at times to suit your needs.
