E,C & I Project Engineer -Greater Manchester - Permanent - £55-60k Starting Salary DoE + Benefits - Site Based

Are you a Control & Instrumentation Engineer with experience managing projects on the look out for a role offering long term security (permanent)?

Do you have proven experience in a control and automation role within a heavy plant/machinery industry?

Are you qualified up to (or above) HNC level in Electrical/Control Engineering?

If the answers are yes, our client are hiring an E,C & I Project Engineer. Reporting to the Head of Engineering you will support the E,C&I and Projects Teams in delivering projects across our client's Manufacturing site in the ongoing drive for digitalisation.

What you need…..

Proven experience in a control and automation role within a heavy plant or machinery industry
Experience of a range of industrial instrumentation
Minimum HNC in Electrical/Control Engineering
PLC Programming experience
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook
Must have ability to work well under pressure
To be self-motivated with ability to use own initiative
To be methodical with superb attention to detailWhat you get in return….

Salary in the region of c £55-60k level dependent on experience

The role…

You will help ensure that new and existing process equipment is effectively controlled to both satisfy the requirements of the internal customer and safeguard a future-proofed solution. You will also be responsible for the technical and cost aspects of project work with due regard for any relevant legislation, including health, safety and environmental requirements. Projects will be delivered by the effective management of external contractors, or LMT maintenance team members as appropriate.
