Head of People

Manchester City Centre/Hybrid with some travel.

Paying up to £70k, our client is recruiting for a Head of People on a permanent basis. The role is an opportunity to develop further an already outstanding function, alongside guiding a commercial board with decisions to keep this award-winning business ahead of competitors.

The Role

A pivotal member of the business, this role is for someone with an interest in a long-term career and someone who is looking to make the step into their first head of people position.

Key accountabilities:

To provide a full HR support function whilst supporting the business leaders in achieving its goals of developing employees, at all levels in order to provide the best possible service.
Line management of a team.
Ensuring all processes and procedures are in place to meet legal and regulatory requirements, reducing risk to the business.
To continuously review and improve processes, procedures and initiatives in line with HR best practice regardless of industry in order that we can attract and retain the best possible talent in a competitive market.

The Person

This will suit someone who has some previous experience working within a senior business partnering position and someone who is ambitious, driven and looking for a challenge. The person needs to be highly organised with a commercial approach and someone with excellent communication skills.

You will ideally be CIPD qualified. You will be dynamic and motivated and be open to change due to the fast-paced and constantly evolving environment within this organisation
