Residential Home Manager
I am currently working with an excellent charity care provider who's impressive portfolio of elderly nursing and specialist dementia homes span the UK. The company currently have an opening for a Home Manager at their slightly larger than average Care Home which is set in beautiful grounds in the Farnworth area.
My client have an excellent reputation within the care community with their state of the art nursing homes and excellent CQC reports. All Managers within the group are supported by a fantastic operations, finance and HR team while having total autonomy of their home and the opportunity to add their own creative flair to improve the home in all areas. This company are a charity organisation, and have a range of support services, covering elderly care and also providing bespoke support for adults and younger people with complex and varying needs.
Within the role of the Care Home Manager you will oversee the entire service working alongside the senior leadership team to ensure the home is up to their high standards. This is a hands on role and you will be expected to market, promote, advertise and recruit as well as liaising with relevant governing bodies and local authorities. You will lead and inspire your team to provide outstanding, truly personalised care to your residents.
The home is set amongst beautiful grounds, and boasts excellent services and facilities. It has a great reputation locally, is very stable and has a wonderful CQC report. This is the ideal opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager who has a proven track record with CQC for an elderly care home. This is a residential Care Home and therefore the Registered Manager is not required to have a nurse qualification! This is a very competitive salary and the company also offer a discretionary bonus scheme.
Experience and Qualifications required of the Care Home Manager:
• Experience as a registered manager of an elderly residential home.
• NVQ Level 5 Health and Social Care (or working towards).
• Demonstrable strong leadership skills in managing large teams of people.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Strong influencing and communication skills at all levels.
• Strong experience working with Dementia.
• Computer literacy, including the use of word processing and other software packages.
• Satisfactory DBS and Adult First check.
