Job Title: Electrical Project Manager - Building Services
Location: Oldham office with site visits and potential of some hybrid working
Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 per annum, plus car and benefits
About our client:
Our client is a specialist building services contractor with a very healthy order book. They are a leading provider of innovative and high-performance solutions in the data centre/critical infrastructure sector. With a proven track record of delivering successful projects, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their team with a view to overseeing some key projects.
Responsibilities:
Project Management:
* Oversee the entire lifecycle of the installation of electrical services into new build/refurb projects from conception to completion.
* Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful delivery.
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
Client Engagement:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations.
* Provide regular project updates, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the process.
* Address and resolve any client concerns or issues promptly.
Team Leadership:
* Lead and motivate a team of electrical engineers and project personnel.
* Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
* Provide guidance and support to ensure project teams meet or exceed expectations.
Budget and Resource Management:
* Monitor project budgets and financial performance.
* Allocate resources effectively to optimize project efficiency.
* Identify and implement cost-saving measures where possible.
Quality Assurance:
* Ensure that all projects adhere to industry standards and regulations.
* Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to deliver high-quality results.
Education and Skills:
* Qualification in Electrical Engineering or related field.
* Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager (Building Services), with a successful track record of managing complex projects.
* In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and engineering principles.
* Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to effectively communicate with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
* Proven experience in project management and team coordination.
* Any experience working on data centre projects is advantageous but not essential
