Mpeople recruitment are excited to be in partnership with a well-established Engineering business based in the Oldham area, who are looking to add an experienced MIG and TIG Welder to their team. This position will work on a full time, permanent basis.
* Role: MIG and TIG Welder
* Location: Oldham
* Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
* Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30am to 4:15pm and Friday, 7:30am to 1:30pm
Your duties as a MIG and TIG Welder will include but not be limited to:
* Fabrication and welding of various components
* Working from and reading technical drawings
* Thin plate to 1.2mm in thickness
* Working to deadlines
* Maintaining a clean and organised work area
* Following health and safety guidelines
The successful MIG and TIG Welder will possess the following skills:
* Previous experience within TIG Welding
* Experience working with Aluminium and Stainless Steel (Titanium is an advantage)
* Ability to read engineering drawings
* Keen eye for detail
* Ability to work as a part of a team
