ICT Senior Support Engineer

We have a great opportunity for a ICT Support Engineer to within out IT team in Preston. The role of an ICT 2nd line Senior Support Engineer is to support the ICT Service Delivery Team Leader within site services, EUC and people management while performing daily duties as a 2nd line support engineer. This position will be office based, however travel between sites, offices and other main offices is expected on a regular basis. The successful candidate will be expected to work with suppliers and other teams with ICT and the business in order to deliver a service. They, therefore, must be able to work alone as well as work within a team.

The ICT 2nd line Senior Support Engineer will support The ICT Service Delivery Team Leader with customer and team escalations, people management within the Preston office, DPR's and PIP's and take ownership of EUC support and assist the site services team with resource scheduling for technician site visits when the ICT Service delivery Team Lead is on leave or otherwise unavailable

About you

Typically, has to have at least three to five years' experience within a similar role
Basic understanding and experience within an ITIL environment
Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills
Previous experience of supporting software and interfaces such as, Windows 10, Office 365, Active Directory, Exchange Azure
Experience in a customer facing role with excellent customer service skills
