We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our team, specializing in Electrical, Control, and Instrumentation (EC&I) projects. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the production of various engineering deliverables, ensuring adherence to standards and specifications.

Role Overview: In this role, you will lead the production of a wide range of engineering deliverables, including block cable diagrams, single line diagrams, instrument loops and hook-ups, termination drawings, control system sequence drawings, panel designs, and more. Your expertise will extend to the production of instrument datasheets, control system documentation, and safety calculations. Leadership experience, preferably managing teams of 3-4 people, is essential for this role. You will collaborate closely with other disciplines and engage in risk assessments to ensure project success.

Responsibilities:

* Lead and oversee the production of engineering deliverables, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.

* Produce instrument datasheets, lighting models, cable calculations (using AMTECH), and control system documentation.

* Conduct safety calculations, risk assessments, and verification and validation schedules/plans.

* Check all drawings and documents produced by designers for accuracy and completeness.

* Consider EMC considerations such as cable segregation and Faraday principle in design.

* Engage with other disciplines to integrate EC&I designs within multi-disciplinary projects.

* Compile technical files and ensure compliance with the Low Voltage Directive.

Qualification Requirements:

* Degree qualified (BEng or MEng) in Electrical Engineering or related field.

* Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status with relevant professional body.

Experience Required:

* Extensive experience in EC&I engineering, with proficiency in electrical power distribution design, control system design, and instrument design.

* Strong knowledge of producing and checking engineering deliverables, including instrument datasheets, specifications, and commissioning documents/test plans.

* Familiarity with safety calculations, risk assessments, and verification and validation processes.

* Leadership experience, preferably managing teams of 3-4 people.

* Ability to engage effectively with other disciplines and collaborate on multi-disciplinary projects.

* Thorough understanding of regulatory standards such as 61508 and the Low Voltage Directive.
