Retail Sales Manager

Porsche Retail Group (PRG) have an excellent opportunity for a Part-time Retail Sales Manager to work for one of the world’s most iconic brands and join Porsche Centre Hatfield. 

Please note:  To be considered for this role, you must have recent automotive sales management experience from within a dealership.

About the hours
In the role of Part-time Retail Sales Manager, you will work 2 days a week on a Thursday and Friday, 8.30am to 6pm with a 1-hour lunch break. You will also work 1 in 3 Saturdays from 9am to 5pm with half hour break (An average 19.5 hours per week).

What the role involves:
As Retail Sales Manager you will be reporting to the General Sales Manager and you will ensure that the team:

Profit targets and departmental finance targets are met
Delivers a quality of customer service, which is equal with the brand
Manage the selling/advising of customers on all aspects of finance products whilst delivering an unsurpassed experience, by consistently exceeding customers’ expectations, ensuring that commercial and operational requirements are met at all times.
Your responsibilities as Retail Sales Manager include:

Sharing in the management of the sales department meetings and ensuring sales boards are maintained.
Attending and participating in the Centre’s Management meetings to discuss and highlight any issues/areas of concern.
Ensuring that all prospecting and day to day planning issues are addressed
Have a clear strategy and a focused plan that the Sales Team follow and work together to transform customer experience.
Controlling and approving new/used car purchases.
Working with the General Sales Manager to proactively develop the Sales Team.
Appraising part exchanges
Working with and adhering to FCA code of conduct and company policies and procedures.

Salary of £48,500 pro-rata, £100,000 OTE pro-rata
