Social Staffing Solutions are looking for passionate Children's Home Dual Registered Manager for a new permanent role based in Preston PR1/PR7This is to join an existing provider of a 2 new homes, a solo and 2 bed provison offering a real therapeutic approach for highly complex children where this really is their last chance.
 
One of the Director's and the RI was previously the Head of CAMHS and so their therapeutic model is second to none. Whilst this is a brand new home, there is no rush to submit the SC1. Our Client will initially look at bringing in an RM to develop and train in another home and really learn their way before going on to open their own homes. Something that is unheard of in this sector.

Salary is negotiable up to around £60k but the potential for professional growth is massive and you will be making a real difference to those children's lives who need it the most. What The Post Requires
 
· A minimum of 5 years’ Working in Residential Childcare
· At least 2 year in a role supervising and managing staff in a Deputy Manager role
· NVQ Level 3 In Children and Young People's Workforce/Residential Childcare
· Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England)
· Must have a “GOOD” or ‘OUTSTANDING within the last two years OFSTED Inspections
 
What the post responsibilities include but not limited to
 
· Ensuring compliance with Ofsted and regulatory requirements
· Meeting all budgetary, regulatory, and service development targets
· Matching potential Young People with the current residents
· Ensuring Young People have a positive influence from the staff team through your leadership and management of the home.
· Preparing reports and attending a range of meetings, such as review meetings with multi-agency partners, management meetings and interviewing new potential staff for your team
