Job Title – Stock Controller / Production Administrator
Site location – St Helens
Responsible to – Internal Systems Manager

Purpose of the role – Managing the goods in diary for raw materials, processing works order production sheets, producing documentation detailing stock movements from production to warehouse and entering accurate data onto systems.

Multimillion pound investments in new machinery in recent years with a strong fucus on growth and the development of innovative design ideas.

Contract – Permanent
Salary - £11.44ph
Shifts – Monday to Friday only, 8am-5.00pm
Facilities – Fantastic facilities on site inclusive of onsite parking, all kitchen facilities, very well kept site.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The role - Our client is looking for a Stock Controller to join their Production facility based in St Helens. Attention to detail and data accuracy is very important as you will be working with stock in a fast-moving business. This is an office-based production administration support role including stock control duties, so throughout the day you will be required to go into the warehouses and yards to check stock levels and stock counts whilst also inspecting the quality of goods delivered.

As a Stock Controller, the responsibilities are varied but not limited to –

* Managing goods in and goods out diary, dealing with any delivery failures and rescheduling.

* Accurately book stock on to the system and producing put-away labels ensuring quantities are 100% correct.

* Dealing with all products from suppliers that come through goods in and dealing with any anomalies.

* Administering inter branch transfers of stock to local warehousing and storage sites.

* Administering live data accurately.

* Processing and administering works order production runs.

* Administration including producing documents supporting stock movements.

* Dealing with paperwork surrounding goods in and goods out.

* Providing the production team with an administrative support.

* Create and monitor repair schedules, perform routine maintenance and preventative repairs on existing systems.

* Actively build relationship with third party companies and engineers who attend site.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED

* Previous experience as a Stock Controller or Production Administrator.

* Comfortable working in the office and also on the yard / warehouse areas where applicable.

* Excellent Excel skills.

* High attention to detail.

* Accurate data entry.

* Competent in Microsoft Office Programmes
