Site Engineer
Our client design, manufacture and distribute low voltage switchgear products for commercial and industrial applications around the world. They specialise in the custom design of electrical switchgear, and have the skills and manufacturing facilities within a fully integrated engineering team to manage projects from initial design and evaluation through to final installation. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join this business.
Key requirements for Site Engineer:
* Must have over 4 years working experience as a Site Engineer in a Swtichgear company
* Must have the ability to interpret technical drawings and 3D visuals from the supplier / company. •
* Experience of installation, modification and building of LV switchgear is required
* Wiring modifications and switchgear alterations experience
This is a site based role which involves working away, as, and when required. This is never more than two nights a week but, obviously can vary depending on business needs. There is a all rota for all Site Engineers. There are a total of 4 site engineers, so this equates to being on call 1 week a month.
There will be occasional weekend and night-time work due to electrical shutdowns on site. In return my client are offer excellent basic salary, free onsite parking, with company van and fuel card provided, mobile and laptop provided as well.
