Construction Labourer
T A Knox formed in 1962 is a family run dynamic and innovative interior fit-out company dedicated to transforming spaces into functional and aesthetically pleasing environments. With a commitment to excellence and a focus on delivering high-quality projects, we are seeking a Labourer to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of interior fit-out projects.
Responsibilities:
* Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment at the construction site.
* Perform general construction tasks, including digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
* Operate hand and power tools under the supervision of skilled workers.
* Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and hazardous materials.
* Assist with the setup and teardown of temporary structures as needed.
* Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
* Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure tasks are completed on time and according to specifications.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required.
* Ability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy objects regularly.
* Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments.
* Strong work ethic and reliability.
* Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is advantageous.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the job site.
* Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment
