Electrician

We have proudly partnered with a national FM provider with an industry leading reputation to recruit a Time Served and experienced Electrician due to continued growth to support a number of service & maintenance works located throughout the Manchester and the Northwest on a full time permanent basis.

Employed in a field-based position covering the Northwest including Manchester, you will be responsible for:

* Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance of a portfolio of commercial properties across the Northwest

* Works can include, but not limited to Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC and Fabric

* Cover a portfolio of contracted buildings repairing and maintaining various systems

* Small project and additional works focused on lighting, power & upgrades

* Carrying out general facilities maintenance including changing belts & filters, AHU maintenance, water temperature checks, emergency lighting etc.

* Participate in the companies on-call rota to provide their customers with full out of hours cover

Essential requirements:

* Served recognised apprenticeship

* Hold formal electrical qualification i.e. 17th/18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations

* Highly skilled in all aspects of electrical maintenance & repair works

* Happy to undertake facilities maintenance tasks including AHU’s, emergency lighting, fire alarm testing etc.

* Good problem-solving skills

* Able to demonstrate a strong focus on customer care combined with excellent communication skills

* Full UK Drivers Licence

* Willing to contribute to working overtime

* Willing to travel extensively

* Undergo relevant Disclosure/CRB checks
