Join a market leading defence client as a Manufacturing Engineer on a contract basis, supporting with production volume readiness and ensuring robust processes on a leading defence project. This role reports to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and is responsible for AIT Manufacturing Engineering.
Who Would Suit This Job: Ideal for individuals with technical expertise in complex engineering environments, experienced in manufacturing excellence, and adept at operating in industrial or technical settings. Suitable candidates possess strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Structuring SAP routings for efficient kitting and build ease.
Developing standard operations across various production modules.
Providing training and support to build Technicians on the shopfloor.
Leading problem-solving and process improvement activities.
Coordinating cross-functional team efforts for cost optimization and waste reduction.
Benefits:
£35-40 per hour - Umbrella
6 month contract
