Kenton Black Finance are representing an established friendly and sociable company in Stockport seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their small friendly and sociable payroll team to work as a team of 2

The Payroll Administrator role requires an experienced payroller ideally with bureau/accountancy/umbrella background and a good knowledge of all payroll procedures to run end to end payrolls on a weekly/fortnightly/monthly basis via BRIGHTPAY (training provided).

Your new role as Payroll Administrator:

You will be working as part of small team of two running the payroll function on a daily basis for a variety of clients dealing with multiple frequency payrolls, therefore attention to detail along with a good communication skills are required to liaise over the telephone and via email.

Day to Day Duties:

• Undertake full end to end Payroll processing dealing with weekly/fortnightly/monthly payrolls for both small and larger numbers of employees using BRIGHTPAY payroll system (previous experience preferred however software training is provided
• Undertake auto enrolment pension processing and RTI filing end of year processing
• Dealing with SSP/SMP/SSP/SPP/SAP processing
• Processing of new starters/leavers, P45/P46's and P60's. Knowledge of CIS ideal but not essential
• Liaising with HMRC

Experience & Qualifications Required to apply:

• Previous payroll experience at running end to end payroll within a similar role processing monthly/weekly/4 weekly payrolls within bureau/accountancy or umbrella environments
• Strong communication and attention to detail able to work autonomously
• Good with resolving queries
• Confident, friendly communication/telephone manner
