Sewell Wallis are partnering with a PE backed business in Stockport who are currently recruiting a Senior Finance Manager to join their team.

With ambitious growth plans and a number of acquisitions in the pipeline, this is an excellent opportunity to be part of a highly successful organisation.

Our client is looking for a fully qualified Accountant, ideally CIMA / ACA / ACCA and working closely with the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:-

Assisting with the management of the corporate accounting team
Presenting monthly and quarterly accounts to senior stakeholders
Running lease accounting and variance analysis of revenue to lease level
Group consolidations for new legal entities
Cash flow forecasting and treasury management
Dealing with tax queries
Providing financial support and guidance to non finance colleagues
Onboarding of new assets
Debt monitoring, management and compliance
Supporting the annual audit
Assisting to develop controls and the checking of data accuracy within the system
Providing support to the Financial Controller and Head of Financial Operations in ad-hoc projects
Assisting in the improvement and development of relevant and accurate management and accounting information delivered to the heads of departments
Developing an understanding of all areas of the ERP system and identifying opportunities and efficiencies that can be made within the system
Dealing with ad hoc queriesRequirements

Fully qualified Accountant, ideally ACA / CIMA / ACCA
Experience of working within the Property / Construction / Investment sector
Ambitious and driven individual who can work in a fast paced environment
Ability to present financial analysis to senior stakeholdersBenefits
