Hse Manager

We Build Recruitment are on the lookout for a HSE Manager based near Warrington who have a background in a construction/fitout environment to join a growing business who have some major contracts.

The company focuses on a variety of areas including fitouts, M&E packages and can even bespoke manufacture fixtures and furnishings for their clients. Encompassing the whole turnkey solution for clients.

The package on offer for this position naturally in alignment with experience however a general guideline is a maximum of £55,000 with a car allowance on top.

Job Role:

* Provide leaderships, strategic and operational advice supporting the delivery team across the whole of England.

* Working with project management teams to make agreements on how to achieve contractual standards of health and safety on sites and projects.

* Maintain a proactive working relationship with all employees, moreover the clients and all appointed contractors throughout the mobilisation, transition, and de-mobilisation stages, ensuring constant communication surrounding HSE.

* Analyse HSEQ data and information to support the preparation of performance reports, preparing reports as required for continual and sustained improvement to enable the achievement of the HSEQ and the strategic objectives.

* Maintain a proactive risk-based programme of HSE advisory visits to operational sites to meet strategic objectives.

Skills and Qualifications:

* Extensive experience as a HSE Manager in a multi-function organisation

* Graduate / Technical Membership of IOSH or IIRSM.

* A minimum 2yrs and demonstrable experience in Construction.

* Lead / Internal Auditor: ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 ISO 9001 certified (desirable).

* Working knowledge of occupational health, safety and environmental legislation and industry best practice with demonstrable pragmatic ability and experience.
