Maintenance Engineer

Overview:

With manufacturing facilities located across the UK and EU, we now require a site-based maintenance engineer to join the team.

Both mechanical and electrical engineers considered, however electrical skills would be highly beneficial in this multi skilled role.

Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role:

To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
PPM's

The ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

- Time served apprentice trained or above

- Previous experience working in a maintenance focused role within a manufacturing/production environment or similar

- An electrical understanding changing like for like parts and basic fault finding. Most of the faults are predominantly mechanical, however electrical skills can be utilised if you are electrically biased.

- PLC fault finding skills highly advantageous
